Anybody have any idea about this is an ACM replacement?

There are two different types of protocol for these fiber optic audio systems, MOST and D2B. The XJ8 uses D2B, this is for MOST, so it won't work.

 

I just had ACM installed on my 04 and it works perfectly. My dealer ordered it and it arrived in 3 weeks. I highly recommend the ACM.

The denison path has been explored vigorously, without success. It may be the exact same module, but for some reason...perhaps a licensing agreement with jag to provide one that only 'talks ' to their system?, the standard model isn't recognized, even with jag firmware that a member got from the denison website before it was removed. There is a very good web page and article written about it by one our own.

I read over on our UK Forum that 'Dension' are going to re-release the ACM for the Jaguar.
You just have to wait as they are very difficult to find these days.
I fitted one in my XJR and it's great.

Just for the info of anyone trying to source an ACM, the name of the company is Dension not Denison.
