My XJ8 2003 is less than a week in my drive and it has started to sound an alarm when I shift into Drive. No other alerts or indications and the alarm silences above 10mph. It sometimes returns when at lights but otherwise no issues indicating a problem. My first thought is oil level but I can find no evidence that it would trigger an alarm.
Any guidance gratefully received

Update

Problem identified.. There is a fault with the parking sensor system.. Gearbox panic over

 

In my experience it's allways a sensor that 's faulty not the rest of the system

.
