Nice looking car. It looks real close to my 08 XJR. I sure do miss the Jag on the hood. I am thinking of going ahead and putting on on my hood anyway. Kinda bummed that they stopped putting them on cars.

Hi, great pics, just puzzled about the different licence plates front and rear, the front one looks as if it is a UK plate ??

Thanks Guys !!! Well that is how it is over here in the US if you want that sweet looking GB plate ... I dont like the US plates so much and in my state you are only required to have a rear license plate so i ordered a GB one for the front and I love it .... Most people over here are fascinated by foreign plates ...

Thanks for explaining that, amazing as they are so hot on us over here when it comes to displaying correct plates. If you are interested and really want to put the correct "age related" plate then you could get a plate as such " ??53 ??? " for a car registered from September 2003 to end of February 2004 and from 1st March 2004 to 31st August it would be " ??04 ??? ", then from September 1st it would be " ??54 ??? " lasting through to end of February 2005, mind you a lot of people over there may not realise the age thing, The new plate due 1st March this year will be " ??11 ??? " due to the year being 2011.
Hope this is of interest to you, all the best.

Just wondering how many X-308 owners on this thread use their car as an everyday driver like myself. Also, would you consider buying the new XJ-8 for your next car even though the current models have no styling cues from classic Jaguars. I read on the internet that the next generation of XJ-8 will be all electric. What are your thoughts on that? Since this thread is about sexy X- 308 pictures and I have not had time to take any recent photos of my 1999 White XJ-8, I am posting a nice stock photo I found which I think reiterates the beauty and timeless lines of the X-308

They are eye catchers, no question there.

Default Maybe a x350

All of my other cars require much less “work” to keep in top shape. But since retirement is coming soon, would easily buy another XJR or SuperV8.

In my opinion and also as fact, the X308 has a disproportionately long rear door which spoils an otherwise beautiful car.

The X350/X358 could be criticised for other reasons (such as being much larger), but not for it's looks.

But then...this is the X350/X358 forum and I don't recall anyone wanting to change back (looks-wise). Or forward (lol)

Oops. For some reason I thought I was on the X308 forum. Accidentally opened wrong link. Sorry. I really like the X350/358, but to me, it looks just a little bloated. To me, it seems that they knew people were complaining of trunk space in the X308 and they tried to keep the same look but bloating it up a little. Still love these cars as they are the last cars that look like Jaguars.
