Default noob: Differences of '03 vs '04 aluminum body models

Not sure if some '03 models were made in alumin(i)um or not, as I am reading conflicting points of view on the internet, but I am interested in the alum models.

Has anyone here driven the pre- and post- back to back to compare?

I'm a Jag Noob and looking at XJR, probably the '04 and '05 MY to coincide with my budget.

Thanks for reading.

The aluminium bodied X350 was first available in 2003 in the UK but was not available in the

US and Australia until 2004.

The aluminium cars are the same basic "Sir William Lyons style" of 1968, but are wider, higher, and longer than the previous model.
