Default OBD II plug

Can somebody steer me to the location of the OBD II diagnostic plug in my '04 XJ8? I just assumed it would be in the same general area as those on my previous Jags, but you know what they say about assumptions......

Thanks

It's by your right knee, but up underneath. It helps to use a mirror and a flashlight to locate it. Once you get it's position in mind, you can find it again by feel.

Under the lower leading edge under the drivers side dash where it meets the center console. You cannot see it unless your standing on your head, if you reach under you will feel it.

Up under the driver's dash right side as others have said. I bought a short OBDII spliter on Amazon and have one leg tucked under the console side so I can leave my UltraGauge plugged in and the other leg exposed by the console side to connect my i930 code reader without having to get my head under there again.

Same car and I had the same trouble finding mine. That thing is hidden in plain sight!
