I ask this question because I recently changed out my Dash switches, being I now have new seats/heated. I didn't @1st, so all I had on the Dash switch were the lock, hazard, & ASL switches; the new switch I installed has the lock, hazard, heated seats, & VALET buttons (Which of course, the VALET button is on the left side button pack)

I honestly paid no attention when buying the new dash switch as to what "other" buttons it had besides the heated seats.

So, now I'm contemplating whether I should buy another switch with the ASL switch on'eim; thing is, I've had the car over a yr, just changing the switch out about a month ago, & never even checked to see if the ASL button was even operable. But ironically, now I sorta want it? Crazy huh?..

 

I used mine once. I think in a month or two you will have moved on and stopped caring about its absence.

 

You're probably closer to right than wrong! Hahaha

It's probably just placebo effect rite now. I think I want it because I had it, although I NEVER used it...

 

I was in the UK working last year and found the ASL on my rental invaluable when negotiating average speed camera areas.
Never used it on the Jag in the States though.
