Default Okse x350 AS a dailiy driver?

Hello!

I’m currently looking at a x350 2003 model, 238hk, 130 000km. I have always loved the look of this model.
Is this considered as a safe daily driver? Is it something I should look out for? Any feedback is appreciated.

Here is a link to the car I’m looking at, it’s from a Norwegian website, all safe.

This car should be OK as a daily driver; the mileage is low for a 2003, and it looks as if it has been owned by people who care about their cars. This is just looking at the photo, but you should be careful to check whether it has been regularly serviced, (each 10k miles or yearly whichever comes first).

Be aware that as a 2003, the car will probably have certain issues still with it, but nothing serious enough to stop you buying it. These cars are reliable, but do have some things that are annoying like the short life of suspension bushes. Once expensive, these are now much cheaper to replace, especially if you use the internet and buy OEM parts on there. Servicing is best done by a Jaguar-specialist if there is one in your country. Jaguar main agents are expensive in labour charges, although a lot of Jaguar spares prices are now much lower, which I think is a result of Tata ownership. Ford seemed happy to gouge their customers on spares.

Beautiful Jag BUT:

How cold and how long is the Winter in Norway?

There can be a problem with the air suspension in cold weather-the seals contract and

suspension deflates. This can be a problem particularly in the USA for some reason but

we don't seem to get many similar reports from the UK.

I suggest you research this on this forum but via Google.
