One Armed Rear Sunshade???

One Armed Rear Sunshade???
The rear sunshade sliders in my 07 XJR are broken. Believe I found a replacement kit (using aluminum sliders) here:

However, only the LH arm extends when I press the sunshade button. The RH arm stays firmly down. Is this normal (with broken sliders)? Or, do I need a new rear sunshade module?
IRRC, on German cars both arms extend together to vertical position. On the Jag, the LH arm extends beyond vertical (and actually angles to touch the LH edge of the rear glass surround)
What am I missing here?
