Wingrider, as you know there are two laws in life.....Murphy's Law and Sod's Law:

Murphy's Law: If something can go wrong, it will go wrong!

Sod's Law: When something goes wrong, it always does so at the worst possible moment!

So, wifey and I were looking forward to cooling off in good 'ole rainy England for three weeks and today, the British Met Office are issuing heatwave warnings with temperatures over 30 degrees C!

Still, Wimbledon tennis arrives in a weeks time, so it will definitely be raining by then!!

The last time I saw "mayonnaise" like that in the photo was with my wife's old Rover 25 with a head gasket failure. I have to say, I don't see this story ending well, frankly.

You may well be right, but were all hoping your wrong.

 

Look at it this way; it was to time to flush transmission and get a new radiator anyway given the age and mileage of the car. Just call it scheduled general maintenance.
