Default Overextended front suspension

So...now it looks like the XJR has had an overdose of Viagra! The front suspension is extened to what I presume to be the maximum height. Lots of rain recently. Possibly related? Sensor connectors getting wet/corroded?

I would get the suspension fault errors in the winter. But what would cause a problem like this?

A duff height sensor or defective wiring to it, maybe ? However, no fault code tells me the system thinks all is OK, so clearly all the sensors are there and detected but one could be sending the incorrect signal. A recalib on the ASM could put matters right.
