P0138 & P0158 CEL Codes
I drove my 2004 thru a car wash the other day and when I exited from the car wash, the car died. I immediately restarted the car but was in limp mode. I parked the car to continue to clean the car, but when I drove home, the limp mode came on. I parked the car in a parking lot and cleared the codes after I wrote them down and called for a tow truck. The codes I read was P0138 and P0158. These codes read Bank 1&2 sensor 1&2 Circuit High Voltage O2 sensor. Did the car wash cause these faults and will they come back later. I was able to drive the car home myself but at very reduced speed and with the AC off. I would appreciate understanding the meaning of the codes and should I have 1 or both of the O2 sensors replaced. Up to this time the car has been very reliable and I want to keep the car for the immediate future. Thank you.

Can you check the drain under the cabin filter.
If it's blocked you may have had water onto the ECU and connector.
