parking sensor
Welcome to the forum Sartogarider,
I've moved your post to the model tech section for a better response.
We always like a little foreplay here before getting down to business, maybe you can post an intro in the new members section?

Do you mean the tone occurs every time you start the car??
Is the light you refer to in the Park Aid switch in the roof console??
Does this car have Front and Rear Park Aid, of only Rear Park Aid??
Generally the Park Aid indicates a fault by sounding a solid tone for 3 seconds when the shifter engages Reverse, not when starting the car.
I would start by doing a reset of the car again. Disconnect the battery for a few minutes and then reconnect it quickly and cleanly. Then reset the window one touch and try the Park Aid again.
Good luck!
Hi Steve, You are of course right. It is a 3 sec tone when put in rev and the light comes on the overhead console switch. I disconnected the battery and noticed that only the passenger rear window goes back up with one touch. I am unfamilair with this cars "one touch" setting(s). The parking sensors, front and rear, are the same. Not working and showing fault. Thanks a lot for the help. Scott
I also have park sensors not working but I get a warning in the display that says the fronts are not working and the whole system shuts down with the 3 sec warning etc. I tried listening for the clicking but don't hear anything front or rear because I assume they are shut down by the parking module when they sense a fault. Is there anyway to determine which sensor has failed? Hope I'm not hi-jacking the thread.
