Default Parking sensor fault

Parking sensors keep sounding, good job Jaguar unlike any other car manufacturer I know fitted a cut off switch - wonder why?
Does anyone know how to cure this?

What DTC(s) is/are logged in the Reverse Parking Aid Module?

Is the car fitted with forward alert?

Bob, I really don't know, what is a DTC? Don't know if the car is fitted with forward alert.

Whatever is s standard on a 2004/5 XJ Sovereign is what I have. If you can point me in the right direction as to finding out I will let you know.

DTC = Diagnostic Trouble Code(s).

The Parking Aid system has a module that will store codes for faults detected.

Thanks Bob, even if I knew where the module was I don't have the software to extract the info. I may be able to use a local independent Jag garage to interrogate it.
