Passenger front door lock fuse location?
Hi, I've a deadlocked & firmly shut passenger door on my x350 xjr (separate thread running). Before I start cutting holes - anyone know what the fuse number is for it?
Cant seem to find a reference to it anywhere..

Sorry to say, but you cannot find a dedicated fuse because there isn't one.
I have never seen a car that has a separate fuse for each of the locks, only with one fuse for central locking, if not even a combined fuse for more than one electrical circuit.
According to the electrical guides ,all door latches are controlled by the rear electronic module (or REM), which is connected to various fuses, and in the cabin fuse box fuse no. F13 is labelled "Rear electronic module (REM), door locks", which means that if it is a fuse problem, no lock should work.
I have only looked into the owner's Handbook for the 2005MY (unfortunately I have not seen what year your XJR is, but the fuse location should be the same in most MYs),
Best regards,
Thomas
