Passenger side wing mirror replacement

Passenger side wing mirror replacement
I need to replace the passenger side wing mirror on my XJ8, how do I get the old one off and fit the new one? I am guessing that Its a case of taking the door handle off and them removing the interior trim but any guidance would be much appreciated
