Problem with back panel of driver's seat!
So, this problem was here before I bought the car, the dealership didn't fix it as they said they would(gave me $100 after I refused to let the issue go).
As you can see in the pictures, the panel isn't connect at the top anymore, it looks like someone used tape at one point to try and get the pins to stay in the holes. I took a picture of the holes and the pins and am wondering what the fix for this would be?
I'm thinking if there isn't a cheap replacement pin available, just drilling 2 holes in the side of the seat and putting black caps over them, but figured it's best to check here before I make any permanent changes.

OK, I looked in my copy of the 04-05 XJ8 Parts lists and came up with this:
Clip, Trim Panel ( 2 /side)
Driver Side Part Number XR8043848 $1.95
Passenger Side Part Number XR8043848 $1.95
Now the part numbers may have change a little but this will send you in the right directions.
So Please don't
Good luck
