Default Pulling left

I have had a problem with the car slightly pulling left during a drive and just let it ride thinking it was just the way the roads are constructed here in Florida, generally have a somewhat higher center. Also, have had a somewhat bounce to the rear end which I wrote about some time back.

However, during the last cold snap, the left rear was flat. The air spring was one of the old Arnott reman's, so called Arnott and they said it was due to the fact that those shocks were old reconditions Jag installed shocks and it was a failed upper seal just like all the other Jag shocks of that period and that they would send me a New built Arnott unit. I questioned about the new Shocks not having the CAT system and was told it would be fine to use it with the older Jag installed one on the right and that I wouldn't feel any difference in the ride.

The New Shock is installed and I have not noticed any difference in ride quality, plus, since the shock has been installed, the pulling to the left has disappeared and the bounce to the rear end has also disappeared.

On packing the old shock to send back to Arnott, oil just pored out of it when I picked it up, indicating the shock part of the unit had internally failed. No oil was evident prior to removal, so point should be noted by others.

Cheers
