Default Rear bulb failure modul or body control unit

Hello

I have some problem with the rear lights indicator as well registration light.
I thought the indicator Stalk were defect but wasn't after using diag it comes up that the module is defect. I bought one from a diesel which didn't work because the fuel pumps didn't work.im not sure if I can use only one from a v8 or do they need all re programmed to your specific car vin number.i got as well the info that the module get wiped by turning on the ignition when it's not reprogrammed before.can I reprogramming with mongoose?
When I have a look on the module alll ads say usable from 2003 to 2009 other specilast mean 350 to 358 are difference which I can't believe when it's a bulb failure module

May someone had similar issues any info or tips I would appreciate
Cheers Jean j

Open up the module and look for any damage eg

moisture
leaking components
bad solder joint (with magnifying glass)
dirty or bad wire connections etc.
