Default Recharging the AC

Well summer is here in NH and the AC is a bit low. I am considering using a can of Freon with the leak sealer and oil included. Most of these everything in a can include PAG 100 oil which is common for most systems. But some use PAG 46 or PAG 150 oils. Can anyone confirm the correct oil for my Cat?

Please don't use any "death kit" cans with sealer in them. That is an invitation for a complete replacement of the system once that gunk gets everywhere. Also there is no need to add oil on a recharge, only if you know oil has been lost or due to a component replacement. These ac systems are too small already, don't waste space adding ounces of oil it doesn't need.

If this can help, here is a catalogue indicating which A/C fluid and which oil specs and volumes for cars.
Jaguars are on pages 36/37.
Short answer is R134A and PAG 46.
Worth noting that the volumes for X350/358 depend on the presence or not of rear A/C

Paydase

good info. I just plan to top off the Freon for now and add oil if I spot a big leak
