The above is a 2008 post. The key is a LJA2610AA. The year is unknown on this XJ8. Possibly 98,99,2000...etc.

Is the programming the same?

Do anyone have any new ways of programming a remote?

What year/model car are you referring to?? This is important!

 

Besides the above, all I know is that it is a 4 door.

 

If you don't have the switchblade key/fob, then you're not an X350. Wrong MY for this site. I'm still guessing, as you are, that you have an X308. You should move over to that forum for good directions.

BTW - look at the driver's door plate for MY information.

 

Your post is confusing me. This is a XJ8. What is the X300 or X308 have to do with the XJ8?

 

Those numbers designate the models prior to the 2004 (USA) XJ series. The 2004+ are designated as the X350 series.
