Is there a way to program the Super Eight's CATS system the same as an XJR and would it make much of a difference?

 

I don't think it's only the software programming. There are different part numbers for the air springs with "sports" and "comfort" suspension.

 

Can't really reprogram directly...but you can buy the Arden suspension kit for CATS that will lower your suspension when you press the sport button. I'm guessing they've already taken the effort to remap CATS for a more sportier ride. Costs a few grand.

 

Interestingly enough, I was just browsing the specs on my SuperV8 and noted that the front suspension eCATS system is Touring Tuned and the rear suspension eCATS is R-Tuned (sames as the XJR). Anyhow, finally answered my own question. Lol!
