A run out to Ludlow
Had a run out to Ludlow last Saturday. Missus had found a garden centre sellling little things to nail of your wall ! It was also a wonderful autumn day, with blue skys and not too cold. This time I decided to find the car park for the classic view of Ludlow from the west, at Whitcliffe. So here's the photos. You can see the castle, the church of St Laurence, and the Clee Hills in the distance. Some years ago, I climbed the steps to the top of the church.

The brother of Napoleon Bonaparte lived for a short time in Ludlow under a parole agreement. The town house is still there in Ludlow and, indeed, is still lived in.
Later we drove over to the village Cleehill, (named after the hill, of course !). I had never been there, but looking on the map, a view point was shown.
Well, we parked and looked, and this has to be the most magnificent view in all England. It is fantastic ! The Brecon Beacon mountains were clearly visible 50 miles away. A 180+ view like this is impossible to photograph so I have attached a Wikipedia link.
