I am a new owner of a 2008 XJ Vanden Plas, but unfortunately, it only had 1 key and fob and no owners manual. Any good ideas to locate these items?

I bought a new key w/ remote on ebay, took it to my dealer parts guy, he cut it for free for me. Saved over $100 i estimate.

 

I purchased a new integrated key/remote on eBay from remotes.inc I received an oem spec integrated key remote within a few days. The transponder chip was correct, I had a local auto locksmith cut the key and program the transponder chip. I was able to program the remote portion myself (I found simple instructions on YouTube). Remote programming uses a combination of high-beam flashes and button presses. I paid about $90 for the integrated key plus another $80 for the cut and program. It beat the dealer's price of $458 + tax for one key. I had the auto locksmith cut an extra valet key with the money I saved.
