Sim upgrade for Motorola phone?
I would upgrade the system to the original bluetooth, which is pretty easy to do. I did it to my SV8. Then you can just connect your mobile via bluetooth and do not have any problem anymore.
The system also works prety wellalso with current phones, but it does not have a streaming function, youcan only use it for phone calls.
All you need is the bluetooth module, preferably the latest versiion that was availabla, and a bluetoothe antenna. you can find them used on the internet.
The additional microfone that Jaguar installed when introducing bluetooth is not always necessary, in my case it was not.

i also want the car phone to work. Its cool😎
I can be wrong, but I thought Jagdroid has a BT "built in" Then, all you have to do is pair Jagdroid with your phone regardless of your SIM card.
Unless SIM card you mentioned, is used with Jagdroid and when you refer to phone you actually mean 'phone function' of Jagdroid

Let me be clear.
i have full jagdroid and I phone apple car play etc…
all ok and working.
i also would like the original Motorola system to work again as it is a cool feature. I had a double sim and it worked. Now it no longer does due ro generation upgrade.
question is can the motorola jaguar phone system be uograded to take new generation sim?
hope that is clear now

I do not think so. Cell carriers obsoleted Gen3 devices quite a while ago. SIM card is one thing, processor power and radio is another thing.
