Hey Mag,
Did you ever complete this conversion. I manager to get a loan a the MOST/D2B gateway module, so I'm trying to do a similar setup and try to reverse engineer the D2B commands to display data on the screen, so I can make the "venbox" display song info on the screen.

I ordered a set as well, they should be mounted on a post pigeon soon :-P.
Googling random stuff on the net I found a bloke who made a DAB modulator, so technically you can hook a DAB radio and a DAB modulator and have a 64 input aux-in. (The modulator supports 64 stations).
