Default Sold my Jag ... :(

Hey everyone, sold the car today. Very last minute arrangement too as just yesterday I painted a wheel and was planning a DIY on it, some window tint, and OEM hid conversion. Then this morning whatever happened and I gave it to a co-worker.

81k and it drove perfect . . . I seriously did so much preventive maintenance to the car prepping to keep it for a lifetime. Oh well now its to fixing the 2000 BRG Vanden Plas.

I need a transmission for the car anyone have one ? Thanks.

Still, you have a jag to restore
I personally like the styling X308 more than X350

The only plus side I can see, is that now you can get your co-worker signed up for the Forum.

Shame you had to let it go, though.

Yeah, I loved it but to be perfectly honest I always felt the BRG VDP hit me harder in the looks department. Overall the x350 is a better car, but the 305 is a little bit less car with alot of character.

4 months ( at least, possibly more) it sat with no start-up. I threw the jumper cables onto her, boosted it with my SI and put the ignition on ON position till the beep stopped and everything primed.... VROOOOM started no problem, no smoke from the rear, no rattles, no clicking hissing nothing. 133,000 on her .

Looking back I made a terrible decision trying to sell it on the forum as a parts car. Thank goodness I kept it and now have a project to restore. Im putting plates on her tommorow hopefully and will move her from the storage parking lot, takes photos of current sad state and make a restoration build thread. All my parts are sourced now I just need to start ordering.

stay tuned
