Default speakers

i just got a 2005 x type jaguar last week with about 65k mileage, but something happened, my compact disc change was not accepting disc, so i tried to take out the cd disc changer from the trunk to see what exactly was the cause maybe a jam in it or something, but when i got to the car to turn it on because i wanted to go some place the speakers wont work again but radio was working and showing it was playing, i initially thought it might be because the cd changer was out so i coupled it back in but still no sound, i took out terminals from the battery and put it back on, still no response, also noticed the dvd player and the mini monitors was not also coming on, and the rear audio controller wasnt coming on as well, it was just the radio system on the dash board that was lit up but no sound, i tried changing fuse for both voice, dvd and radio head unit, but no response, i got a new battery the following day thinking it was a battery issue because i had to jack the battery after car wont start after taking out terminals but wont still work(sound) am pretty screwed, i think it has something to do with the wiring, but i looked and everything looks well put together, also did the network test, but it says main and dts and that it and wont still work, am out of ideas and one more thing i looked at the trunk and it seems dere was no power in both the dvd player, cdc and the amp.
