If you are looking for the telephone module (most expensive component of the bluetooth system) that you have to have for the bluetooth module (seperate part) to work, I happen to have mine on Ebay right now.

Thumbs up Get a Jabra

Save yourself TONS of money. Get a Jabra or similar speakerphone. Attach to your visor or place in your glove compartment. Mine has the function where it can use an FM station to have the call routed via the car speakers. Works well for me and cost about $60!

Definitely agree. I have the Jabra unit here. Once you take the time to find a clear station (hard to do in a major metro area) and program it in, it works fine. Only drawback is the volume level is low enough that I have to turn the radio up over 25 to get any real volume.

If you've an iPhone, you can even stream Pandora or last.fm, as well!

The Jabra unit can be programmed to respond in several languages. It has one with a female British accent, which tends to amuse others in the car ;^)

Can it play the iPod function through the car speakers?

What if I want a bluetooth module for just listening to music? What would I need?

Yes, the iPod function works. Using the bluetooth devices, such a the Jabra SP700, simply redirects the audio path from the iPhone/iPod's internal speaker/microphone to the bluetooth device. The SP700 adds an FM stereo transmitter to transmit the audio further to a car stereo.

I got mine for about $55 at Costco.
