Default Supercharger oil change

Hello everyone.

I recently read some stories from XJR owners about changing oil in supercharger.
I know it's a easy DIY job and I'm only thinking, is this recommended to do if nothing is wrong with the supercharger?
I mean, I understand oil is getting tired over a period of time but it was supposedly last for life, according to Jag manufacturers.
Mine is 90k miles, works ok I think, sound ok, performs good I think. Shall I change it then? I'd like to make it work better but as they say if "it's not broken don't try to fix it".
Any comments will be apreaciated.
Thank you very much and regards to all.

I can't help with the answer, but in general I've learned this - when the manufacturer says "life" they means the life of the warranty, not the car.
