Default Suspension compressor recommend

Hello everyone, i have a 2004 xj8 x350. I took out the suspension compressor for a cleaning/rebuild and when replacing I was using my fingers to thread in the brass nut with captured olive and it just kept spinning and not tightening. I unthreaded and noticed particles loose in female threads on OEM original compressor. I’m assuming someone prior to me overtightened and attempted to “glue” it back into place. I’m looking for a new compressor and the correct brass fitting with olive. Any recommendations. I noticed Arnott offers 2 models. While I’m at it, I would also like any recommendations for a code reader which I should have had years ago. Thank you

Oe is Wabco . Arnott( P2291) do have them. Miessler automotive do too. You also find them on Autodoc where I got mine from.
there are other brands too
the brass fitting is pre tightened to 5 nm of torque, so absolutely minimal. You just insert the straight precut hose firmly till the end , the pull back slightely to make sure it is completey seated.

A picture would help?
I have cut small bits off the end of the tubing and then re-used the olive. Sometime this is possible and sometimes it's not depending on how bad the damage is.
