I'm just saying that comparing a faulty air suspension system to the coilover conversion isn't fair in regards to ride quality. There is no comparison between a properly working system and the conversion. Though, I certainly understand eliminating air suspension woes in one fell swoop with the conversion if you can be satisfied with the ride.

Though the ride quality isn't quite as nice, I will admit that the x351 tracks noticeably better and I assume it's due to the coilovers in front.

Air! It sounded like a muffled gunshot when it went. My first one that burst did the same thing:

Default Arnott coilover shocks

I had two failures of the air shocks (85 to 90 k miles) so thought it time to go in a different direction. I am getting too old to keep replacing those very often. The ride with Arnott coilovers, to me is superior and my system had been working properly! The air suspension was just "mushy". Speed bumps are no issue but I go over them cautiously. Ride height is about an inch higher but I am told it will settle. Actually the new height is fine the way it is.
