TV tuner for Super Eight

Anyone activate the tuner on one of these or know what it would take?

As far as I know the TV option is not available in North America - probably due to safety regulations.

The TV tuner is intergrated in the head unit (the thing with the touchscreen). It also uses defferent wiring to the Nav unit in the trunk. There are also 4 TV antenna elements on the rear window and 4 signal amplifiers all connected to the head unit.

Maybe a better option is to get some sort of portable TV and hook it to the video input of the entertainment system.

Thank you for the reply. Yes, USA does not allow this as was the case with the S-Class I owned a few years back, but the European module integration was not too difficult for the Mercedes. Sounds like the Jag is more complex and the suggestion you madeeasier.
