Greetings fellow jag enthusiasts,

I just received my icarsoft code reader and I'm trying to diagnose my check engine light. When I try to pull the codes for the engine I get the following message from the reader:

Fault in communication with vehicle ECU. Confirm:
1. This vehicle is armed with the system
2. This system is an electrical control system
3. The diagnostic connector is OK
4. Ignition switch is on

I've confirmed number 4, and for 3 I believe the diagnostic connector is good because I'm able to get codes from the other systems but I'm not sure. Any suggestions?

Seems a known fault with that tool. See if Search shows what to do.
