Default Vac fill cooling system?

I have to replace some coolant hoses, and a reservoir. With my LR products a Vacuum filler (airlift) is golden and absolutely necessary, due to horrible air lock issues. When I've used my airlift, the process is flawless, and topping up later is virtually non-existent. Reading up on the x350 system, airlock doesn't seem to be a big issue with the front raised a little on a 4.2 SC. It seems that the aux pump really does a good job of limiting airlock/filling issues. Does anyone feel the the airlift is necessary on a x350? I know there's no mess using the airlift, but the x350SC seems to bleed very easily.
Any input?
Mark

I changed the coolant on a 2008 XJ 4.2L NA. Nothing special when I filled it up, just poured it in. Ran it several cycles of cold to hot and then topped up.
But the vacuum way is way faster and easier I just don't have one.

I have never had a problem with my 3.5 l N/A.

Drain, refill, drive it, top up.
