Default What Is It

I'm sorry to see it, but Jaguar is slowly changing it's car to look more like the rest of them. Case in point: Cruising down one of the newer, wider, streets in town, an idiot pulled out in front of me, causing me to slam on the brakes to avoid broad siding him/her, and now hot headed me slammed on the go pedal to catch the fool and was almost on top of him before I realized it was a new Jag something or other. The only clue I had was the chrome cat on the trunk. The rest of the rear end looked like any other off the shelf foreign job you can get for less then 25K---plus, pulling along side of it I saw that it was a (sorry girls) women, so I just let the issue ride.

But the whole point is from the rear or along side, a recognizable Jaguar it wasn't. Sad the see Jaguar is taking this road with it's newer designed cars.

Also, just watched a video of the 570BHP vehicle that will be introduced soon, of it being high speed tested at the Nurburgring and had the Title of the article not said what it was, it looked like any other SUV I've seen lately.---Sad, SAD day at Jaguarrock.......

Cheers

Yeah, the new ones look like Volvos. And the TV commercials are especially slimy - I think the guy is having sex with his car.

And conversely several times I've seen one of the new 'Jags' in the local supermarket car park ...

'Ooh - must have a look at that ... '

only to find it's an Audi/Volvo/Volkswagen/Vauxhall (that's prob Opel where you are) or some such.

Sad.

The latest Jags are to appeal to the younger elements.

We will be falling off our perches soon so no point designing cars

for us.

I for one am realley old fashioned and have never seen the appeal

of "sit up and beg" 4WD's that never go off road. LOL

Agreed. They're all awful except the F-Type.
