Default where to buy cheap ac compressor?

Hi guys, I'm looking for a place to buy an a/c compressor, it can be aftermarket or used as long as it works and is not too expensive. Thanks for any help guys!

I struggled a bit on the net to find one. Used one on e-Bay.

JAGUAR X350 3.0 AIR CONDITIONING COMPRESSOR on eBay!

These are a clutchless-type compressor, and no doubt used on other cars. There are people who recondition these things, apart from buying a new one.

Call Brickyard autoparts. Parts are all off of salvage cars. No express warranty for a period of time, but they will guarantee they work when installed.

Whatever you decide to do, do not buy a brand new one, buy a reconditioned unit, it'll be much better than new in the long run.

For some reason reconditioned compresser units have longer lifespans.

Xamyel is right about getting a rebuilt compressor. Usually you would need to exchange your old one to avoid core charge. Don't get one from wrecking yards or used - could be contaminated and/or not operate properly. Would be a pain in da **** to do it over again.
