Is this for out of the the 2008 or the 2004 but I took it the engine out of a 2008 and put in a 2004 change the throttle body and so I don't think I need this let me know
There are differences (improvements) in the emission control set up between a 2004 and 2008 engine.I believe that they were introduced with the MY2006, so from sometime onwards in 2005.
It could be related to this, but I am just guessing.

What Thomas said--that is the evap purge valve and pipe assembly. In early cars it was mounted to the firewall. Jag relocated it to the engine on the LH side above the fuel rail to eliminate noise in the cabin.
