Who has Suncore Coil over conversion kit installed?
Looking for long term reviews on these Suncore coil overs. I know there are lot's threads with opinions, I want to hear from actual folks that have done this. Trying to make a decision for my X358 being restored. Thanks
I installed Suncore in my 2004 XJ8 (SWB). Install done on jack stands and then had an alignment. Everything went without any broken bolts and the back was more difficult than the front. Once one side is done the other side goes quicker. As mine was a 2004, I did not have to deal with the module to turn off the dash light, just unplugged the module and bagged the harness to keep the dust out. So, I have no input regarding the bypass module.
Ride was pretty much the same, maybe a bit firmer and maybe less cushion over speed bumps.
Only gripe was the tail was jacked at least an inch up, which appears to be a common complaint on all spring conversions (other than the S-type hybrid). It looked too Buick for me - and it did bother me.
Drove the car about 7k with the Suncores before I sold it. No issues.

I did a coil over conversion 2 years (10,000 miles ago) and Suncore was one of the three brands I looked at other than Bilstein and Strutmasters. I remember the reviews being fantastic for the Suncore's when I was doing my research. I did end up going with Strutmasters because I liked their reviews better compared to Suncore. Strutmasters are also made in the USA.
The ride on coils is nice though, just a bit firmer than the air suspension was. Only complaints are that those pesky plastic parking garage speed bumps are a bit uncomfortable to drive over.
