Wiper Problems: Is it the Park Switch?

Wiper Problems: Is it the Park Switch?
I have a 2004 XJ8 with intermittent wiper issues. On all modes, high, low, and intermittent the wiper will occasionally stop. The wiper will just freeze and stop in the middle of my windshield. The problem occurs more often at the lower speeds as well as intermittent setting with the longer pauses. I have read multiple posts about this issue but I want to make sure I am not misdiagnosing. Here is what I have tried so far with no success.
A. Replaced R4 and R8 Relays which control Wiper operation. No change in behavior.
B. Measured voltage at all the appropriate wiper connector.
I suspect that the issue is the wiper park switch. When the wiper gets hung up I have to turn the switch off/on multiple times to get it to park properly. I know that the control board uses the switch to turn off. I suspect it also uses it to sense when the wipers are bound due to ice and shut off power to protect motor.
My question is how do I discern if it is a park switch issue and not the Front Control Module board that drives the motor operation?
Thank you in advance for your counsel and advice.

Which Relay
If you flip R4 and R8 around you should be able to figure it out. I am pretty sure it is R8 . One controls operation of wiper arms and the other washer pump. If the problem moves you will know it is a bad relay.

Update to Wiper Problem
I spent some time in the rain trying to do some more problem
determination. One thing I noticed is that the wipers will pause
when car comes to a stop at red light. (This happens in all
modes, Fast/Slow/Intermittant. I have had the battery checked and
it checks out ok. I also have shifted the car in neutral and rev
the engine to see if I can get the wipers to move...no luck. When
I start moving again they begin to work. This leads me to beleive
it is not the wiper park switch.

There is some logic built in to the wiper system that will make it drop to the next lower setting when the car is travelling at less that 5mph so there may be a problem with whatever controls that.
e.g. If on fast wipe they will reduce to slow wipe, if on slow wipe they will reduce to intermittent wipe.

Rain Sensor Control Module
I am still fighting this issue. I did notice that Auto Function of Rain Sensor Module does not work in wiper is set to auto. It can be raining cats and dogs and my wipers never move.
I was wondering if this is the source of my problem. (I do not want to replace wiper motor unless I have to.)
It seems the module is still working in some fashion. When I come to a stop on low speed wiper function it will cause my wipers to stop. (Not on auto on wiper arm..so rain sensor function should not be coming into play.)
Does anyone know where this module exists. I see it on the schematics on page 13 but I do not know where to find it. Is it a module I can pull out to disable this function?

2004 XJ8 Wiper arm position
Hi Guys, My 2004 XJ8 I bought last week, has the drivers wiper parked correctly but while operating does not complete the sweep leaving a large gap (approx 4") of uncleared windshield in the drivers vision. The passengers wiper is parked about 3" above normal parked position when wipers are off.
Any clue? I read some of the post and tried swapping relays but no change. Is there an adjustment?
