Hi All,

Would someone be so kind as to measure the Jaguar logo (if you have one) on the passenger side airbag cover. I'd like to re-create on my car if at all possible.

It's actually pretty small

The total width, (from the beginning of the "J" to the tail on the cat) is 1 3/8"

Overall height is 3/4"

One point to note is that it is somehow applied underneath the lacquer or into the wood because if you close your eyes and run your finger along it, you can't feel it

 

Hi, while not complete yet i have made some steps forward.
Sourced a High res logo online and adapted.
Found someone to cut the decals for me.
They weren't willing to weed the vinyl - so given I had some years in the sign industry I did this myself.
Now just waiting an opportune time to do the spraying.

Looks exactly like the ones I brought on eBay as mirror etched logo. Oddly they seem the same size too.But they are white,not sure if they will do chrome look but worth an ask.

I think they added a touch of class to the mirrors without obstructing the view.

 

Would be interested to see a link if you have one?
