My beloved '04 XJR was involved in an accident before the holidays, and the insurance company is totaling it out.

I want to buy a later model to replace it, but there are very few 2007/2008s that I've seen on autotrader or cars.com. Would prefer an XJR, but could be tempted to an XJ8 as the price is a bit cheaper.

Any thoughts on how to go about this search?

 

I did a search on autotrader.com using 2007-2008 Jaguar XJ series and came up with 11 hits, but no XJRs. You may want to expand the geographic area to see what is available. I would play around with the search criteria. Try first searching on 2007-2008 XJRs with no geographic limitations to see what you come up with. You may then then try look at 2006-2008 model years. If geographic factors are a limiting factor then try searching using various parameters.
