X350 and crash safety.....?
Hello all.
Yeah, the XJ is getting closer and closer to be a family car. What a drive one get in it.
Great comfort and a style only a Jaguar can deliver.
But, how was the crash safety on these models?
Neck to neck with the Germans?

Don't know the rating, but I have had 2 different body guys tell me they are one of the sturdiest bodies on the road. I was talking them into putting the car on a frame machine after accidents to check the body. Neither were Jag guys, so they had no reason to shine me about it. Oh...the body was spot on both times...
I rear ended another car 4 years ago in my X350 when my throttle pedal stuck under the floor mat after kicking down, it demolished the car in front but mine was driveable, it cracked the bumper, a broken headlight and a small crease on the bonnet. The independant approved aluminium bodyshop, that looks after a lot of high end cars, said the Aluminium XJ was a stronger car , in their opinion, than the S class merc, enough said !
