My X350 V6 has just lost the plot with both key fobs. Locked fine at night, won't open since with either fob, had to use the key. I've replaced the battery in the main fob (the one I use most of the time and associated with Memory 1) and tried to reprogram it using the advice from XJRGUY above, which is bang on the money - many thanks XJRGUY, but I get no response from the car when pressing the fob buttons.
I've tried a complete reset of the car by disconnecting the battery and leaving it for 30 minutes plus, but this didn't work either. The fact that both fobs have stopped working makes me think it's a problem with the receiver or sensor on the car. The battery is almost brand new and a good one, actually the same as for the XJR. Is there a fuse or something I can check?
Any thoughts before I part with lumps of Wonga at the dealer?

Thanks for the posts. It turns out that it was the driver door module which had suffered from water ingress. Got a new one fitted by my friendly local dealer at mates rates who also reprogrammed all the keys. Also had it serviced and the drivers lumbar support fixed so it's bang on the money now.

we have just purchased a 2003 jaguar x350 v6 auto with one black key
buttons on key do not work so purchased used black key fob from ebay
tried to program with the high beam method, no beeps and does not program the fob
anyone in or near Derbyshire de11 who can HELP US PLEASE.
