Hi Everyone,

I've found a set of 2010-2011 XF Cygnus 5-spoke chrome 245/45HR18 tires/wheels and would like to buy them to replace my Sabre chrome 255/40ZR19 tires/wheels on my 2008 XJ.

A "compatibility checker" say my 2008 XJ is not compatible. The seller says they "probably" will fit but may need a spacer.

I'd like to know for sure before I spring for the purchase. Can anyone help me?

Yea they'll fit but why. The sabre wheels look a lot better

 

I should have mentioned that my dealer's service technician noted bent wheels and cupping on the tires which is causing vibration and shuddering.

Its' not like I don't like the chrome Sabre wheels, but I can't spend a fortune on replacements.

Just to clarify your comment "they will fit" - they will fit as is, without any adapter (despite compatibility checker's results)?

You'll be fine, direct fit. I assume width is identical?

 

Thanks. Yes, according to the tire fitment guide (another forum on this site) they are both 8.5.
