Hi all have a early G vin 2003 XJ with the 16 way comfort seats(UK hence the 2003). I have found an issue with the rear of the drivers seat rocking with free play not much but when braking it can become annoying. I have had the back of the seat off today to tighten all the fixing bolts and although not quite to the right torque they weren't off by much. I did notice that pivot between the upper part of the frame and the back rest moves when rocking chair with hand.

I was wondering if there was ever a TSB for the XJ seats as i know the X types suffered and a spring and bracket was brought out. I can see no signs of damage or metal fatigue so if not wondering if i should try make my own bracket.

hopefully someone can help me yet again love my jaguars but never had one yet without all those small niggles. If get a chance will post a tomorrow before i refit the seat back
