XJ8 4.2NA fitted XJR mufflers?

One of my silencers throw out the white adsorbent today and thinking to fit the silencers from an XJR.
Will it improve anything? Will I get more power in city?
Any experience please!

I 'believe' they are the same as NA vehicles, with the exception of the Portfolio, which has a larger diameter.

Can't specifically state for sure about the XJ8/R, but if the NA and S/C versions are similar to the S-Type V8/STR, the supercharged car's exhaust diameter is larger at the muffler.
