Question XJR will not crank

Hello all,
This summer I was finally able to talk my brother in law into selling me his beautiful 1995 XJR. I've been bugging him for some years now. He was the original owner and the car only has 72K on the clock.
With that said the first thing I had to do is replace the fuel pumps as ethenal sitting in the tank had made a mess of things. The car cranked fine before the fuel pump job (just no flow to the fuel rail).
With everything back together and now... I get no starter crank or even a solenoid click , no headlights, and the key fob will NOT unlock the doors. But everything else seems to run??? Battery is OLDER but I just charged it up. I moved the battery to my truck and it cranks it fine!
I'm a mechanical guy, but my weakness is with electronics.

Any HELP would be very appreciated!!!

Sorry for no replies, but you're in the wrong forum ! This one is for the aluminium XJ saloons built from 2003-2009. Your 95 XJR is an X300 with the straight 6 engine, (or it should be !!). Try posting in the X300 forum or ask a moderator to move your post over.
