Default XK8 Atlas wheel powder-coat

Considering powder-coating one of my 19" Atlas wheels. Don't want to do them all due to the expense. Ripping off all the tires, reinstalling, and rebalancing 3 more than I need just doesn't 'sit' right.
P-C man shows me some silver powder that is close, but there is no way it will match the other wheels. Has anyone ever tried to obtain the powder from Jag, or anywhere else. (I am presuming, perhaps wrongly, that these wheels were, in fact powder-coated in the first place)? Any ideas?

My wheela are 'Dynamic' and I don't think they are powder coated.

I would just have it sprayed to match but it will probably

still look newer.

My Healey wheels were done with the tyres on and looked great (with satin clear coat).

BTW you will have 5 wheels to play with not just the 4 you mention.

ie swap 'em around?

I'm not sure I have a full service spare, come to think of it. I'll have to get the car uncovered and the various things stowed in the trunk removed, so that I can see.
If I do have such a thing, I wonder what tire is mounted on it, since they are directional on the car and non-(officially) interchangeable from front to rear.
if the spare is full service and on Atlas rim, if it is better looking than the defective rim, that would solve the problem. I would still like to hear from members who have thoughts on paint codes and pain types, with regard to Atlas or other rims.

Hello, I see you have atlas rims on your beautiful xk8. I just purchased a set, But I didn't realize the lug pattern of the xkr's they originally came on had a different lug pattern, I just started a new thread asking for help on this topic. How did you fix this problem? Please message back or respond over in my new thread. Thanks so much! Brian

BrianWD40, I am a bit puzzled: I was not aware that these rims were anything but an option (20") on any flavor of XK8, R-type or otherwise. Likewise, I also didn't know that there were different bolt patterns in use on the XKR. Different stock rim designs I could understand, but different bolt circles? Shows how much I don't know about the XK line! My rims were said to have been ordered with the car by the original owner, but I don't know for certain. I do have some document somewhere that lists the wheel-size options, and I know the Atlas style was 'official' at some point.
I would post this as a separate thread/question and see if one of the members has an answer.
