For the past three days, every time I turn off the engine on my jag, I get a series of 5 loud beeps, repeated several times (5 or six times) coming from inside the dash on the passenger's side. Any ideas? Another unrelated issue I have been having for a while is that when I first start the car in the mornings, the engine cuts off suddenly and completely at the first couple stops I make. This occurs as soon as I put on the brake. At the same time, I can see the voltage drop suddenly to about 11 volts. Any ideas on either of these two issues?

Hi AirforceJagger. This may sound absolutely mad but I had similar thing on my Sovereign & it turned out it was a warning to clean the aerial mast!!

Next time you hear it look at your radio screen as it reads out 'clean aerial'

I assume it is not a UK only feature.
