4hp22 to 4hp24 with hydraulic control
Hello everybody!
I have x300 with 3.2 engine and 4hp22 gearbox.
There are some plans for the car in future and I would like have the beefier gearbox from 4.0 but not so keen to have electronic controll that comes with it,
I know that 4hp22 and 4hp24 are very similar transmissions and 4hp22 accepts most of 4hp24 internals but is it possible to swap the manual/hydraulic valvegear from 4hp22 to 4hp24 box and have it workin in 3.2 without TCM?
